See how it affects their morale and whatnot.Īs for gameplay, I also use OS sliders, and I find that I waste the most stamina when I’m chasing a game or the opponent is playing a Tiki-Taka style of play, which results in me getting frustrated and spamming sprint-jockey (yes, a noob move) across the entire midfield and defensive third. Granted, most of the key players on my team have high stamina and tend to recover quickly, so I cannot discount other variables, but maybe try bringing in one of your better players at halftime for a couple of matches to preserve their stamina. It will help increase the match fitness of both players, provide playing time for possible developing players, and could help manage stamina through an efficient rotation. Maybe you could try using that to your advantage bring on one of your better players at halftime and start one of your bench players for that match. One thing I’ve found is that starters will always lose more stamina than subs, even if they play the same amount of time (subbed off at halftime). I’m playing in the Bungesliga, so there’s barely any fixture congestion there, but the Championship is one of the most trying leagues for stamina (aside from League One and Two, IMO).
